Alyssa is the Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) of EVT (Empowering Veterinary Teams®) where she oversees the content development, clinical skills training, and overall vision of the company. She co-founded EVT to provide training programs, RACE-approved CE, training materials & coaching/learning opportunities for veterinary practices, as well as content development and training directives for veterinary industry service providers. Alyssa graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Marine Biology which led her to the education/conservation track. Ultimately her desire to learn and do more led her to transition to the veterinary field where she attained an AS in Veterinary Technology from Manor College and added CVT to her credentials. She has 20 years of veterinary experience and has worked in numerous sectors of the industry. Throughout her tenure, she has held multiple leadership roles including Lead Veterinary Technician, Adjunct Professor, and Education & Development Coordinator.As her career has shifted along with EVT Alyssa is also thrilled to be a member of the Board of Directors for Pawsibilities VetMed, and GIVE, an advisor for BlendVet, and the Director of MentorVet Tech as well as a co-founder & the Director of Veterinary Strategy for nûrtûr, and co-founder of the non-profit organization Project Sticker. Alyssa is also excited to be working with various industry providers as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and professional speaker.

Susie Crockett, BS, CVPM, is the Director of Practice Management for Noah’s Animal Hospital, where she oversees 9 Practice Managers, as well as the operations for 10 hospitals. The hospitals include General Practice, Emergency and Specialty Care, as well as Low-Cost models. With over 25 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Susie has a broad knowledge base and high expertise in all aspects of managing a veterinary practice. Susie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Communication from Purdue University. She earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager Credentials in 2009, validating her knowledge and understanding in Veterinary Practice Management. She is passionate about elevating the education and skill set of Veterinary Managers and Leaders. She was an elected member of the CVPM Board for 10 years and currently holds a position on the VHMA Board of Directors. Susie has been a contributing author for AAHA, AVMA, IDEXX Learning Center, among others. She has been a part of multiple committees within several organizations, including Veterinary Management Association of Indiana and Veterinary Medical Association Executives.

Elizabeth is a licensed technician, beginning her career in general practice and teaching veterinary technician academia. She is involved in several industry organizations, including ISVMA, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators. She promotes the advancement, growth, and development of all veterinary team members in the field to better the industry and combat burnout for veterinary professionals. She fully advocates for the utilization of veterinary technicians of their licensure and advocates for title protection on the state and national level. She is also the co-author of Leadership and Business for Veterinary Professionals and she earned her B.A. in Communications in 2022 and is working towards her MBA program. She is the Sr. Manager of Learning and Development for Alliance Animal Health and creates development paths for veterinary medical professionals in practice.

Maria Pirita is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, Elite Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional and former hospital administrator. In her work with Uncharted Veterinary Conference and beyond, Maria has presented to veterinarians and teams across the US and Canada on topics including veterinary marketing, feedback, team building, and positive work culture. With over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine and over 20 years in leadership, she's passionate about helping leaders develop their skills. Maria loves any activity that involves creativity or learning something new. This leads to an abundance of hobbies including crafting, traveling, cooking and aviation.
